Swim with Whales- Ocean Safari June- September

Enjoy a 4-5  hour Whale safari witnessing Humpback Whales in their natural environment. Join us on our fast boat for a raw ocean experience as we look for Whales, Dolphins, Turtles, Sea birds, Manta rays and anything else we may encounter.  Our small groups ensure  more space, close encounters and better views. Beginning in the sheltered waters of the Sandy Straits we pass K’ Gari and over the Wide Bay passage to look for Humpback whales off Rainbow Beach and the coloured sands.

The whales may be transiting North towards Hervey Bay or South on their way home to Antarctica. We will enjoy natural interaction and observations of the whales depending on their mood whilst learning about the species from our knowledgeable crew. Humpback whales can be inquisitive and relaxed, playing and spy hopping around the boat, if we have the chance of an immersive interaction, we will pop snorkelers in the water with a guide who will point out the Whales as they pass by.

The tour will also provide glimpses of K'gari, the Sandy Straits, Rainbow Beach, the Coloured Sands and even Double Island Point and Wolf Rock from the water. Join us on an exhilarating ocean safari and explore the wonders of our local area. We will explore the areas best suited for conditions on the day.
